So this is a matched set, yeah? Mmm, maybe not. Under natural light, they're a perfect match. But shine a UV light on them to watch the uranium glass flouresce and you'll notice the creamer is more vivid than the sugar bowl, as you can tell in the picture. Maybe the bowl was made from a different mix and they didn't use the same amount of uranium? We'll never know, of course, but that's part of the intrigue and mystery when dealing with antiques and vintage glassware. Every piece has a story, and these keep theirs a little closer to the vest. But it sure is fun to wonder!

So this'll give you something to ponder over the years. Go ahead and serve tea or coffee with them and tell this story, then shine a black light on them to prove it. It's an awesome conversation piece.
