Return Policy
We want you to happy with your purchase and eager to buy from us. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it provided:
Your purchase was not lost or damaged in transit (see below about filing a claim with the Postal Service for damage during shipment).
You notify us within three business days of receiving your purchase.
The product is packed in the original container and with any and all labels still intact.
You ship the product back to us fully insured for the purchase price, using Priority Mail via the United States Postal Service (USPS), and at your expense.
We will acknowledge the receipt of the returned product within three business days, then issue a refund less a 15% restocking fee.
We ship to US addresses only, using Priority Mail from the USPS. This is the most economical method we could find. We take extra care to package your purchases against damage, and everything we ship is insured for the full purchase price by the USPS. So if your shipment is lost or damaged, you must file a claim directly with the USPS by following their procedure here:
https://www.usps.com/help/claims.htm
Because the USPS assumes this liability, we cannot accept returns and do not offer refunds for loss or damage from shipping.
Representation
We thoroughly research everything we sell, but cannot certify any product's authenticity. We represent the age, history and origins of our products to the best of our knowledge and understanding. You agree by purchasing from us, you will hold us harmless and without liability as to the representation of any of our goods.
The colors you see on our site may not be exactly how they appear on the actual product, factoring in photography and lighting differences.
Terms
"Vintage" items are anything we know to be at least 20 years old.
Anything we refer to as "antique" means it's over 100 years old, and we've either verified that to be the case or have it on good authority by a knowldgeable third party.
"Contemporary" pieces are ones that are being produced today.
Regradless of age, we believe anything we offer has collectible value, or is something you'd simply enjoy having in your life.
We hate the word "retro," so we'll harldy ever use it. But if we do, it refers to an item that is produced today that is made to look like it was produced in an ealier time.
