Silverware Set

William Rogers & Son Silverware

Three times a year my mom would bust out the silverware. I would chuckle with anticipation when she gleefully made her way to the buffet drawer to remove the heavy wooden case filled with the utensils we only used when we were being fancy. Mom was so proud of her set and she'd hum and smile polishing each piece. There was something calming about how she methodically made each fork, knife and spoon shine.

So on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter we got the chance to eat with these special things.

This is a silver-plated set by William Rogers & Son, with the Sea Spray pattern from 1960. The case is a bit care-worn and one salad fork is missing. So you can serve seven people completely, or eight if you know someone who doesn't like salad.

56 pieces.

$100.00 to make it yours, and that includes shipping.
