Green Uranium Depression Bon-Bon Dish

You don't have to know anything about this to know you love it, but I'll tell you all about it anyway. It's a pretty bon-bon dish molded with the Decagon pattern made by the Cambridge Glass Company. Its age isn't precisely known, but we'll put it between 85 and 100 years.

The glass contains uranium and other elements to give it a beautiful green color under natural light. But under ultraviolet light, as you see it here, it flouresces a vivid green. Don't worry, though, you're perfectly safe because the amount of radiation in the glass is too small to be harmful.

Keep it on your shelf, in your curio cabinet, or use it for its intended purpose and serve bon-bons on it.
